When will my car be ready?

A quality repair job involves many complex steps. All though our estimators are among the industry's finest, certain types of damage become apparent only after the vehicle has been disassembled. In some cases, we may need to revise your vehicle's completion date. But rest assured: we know how important your vehicle is to you. We pledge to keep you informed all along the way, and we promise to return your vehicle as quickly as possible.

How do I get a damage estimate?

It is always best to call us at (205) 252 - 1442 to schedule an appointment if you need an estimate for your vehicle.

 

When your vehicle arrives at our facility, our estimators will perform visual inspection of the vehicle. A estimate will be generated and discussed with you. If you decide to repair the damage, photos will be taken and the repair process will be scheduled.

 

What do I do if I have an automobile accident?

At Tom Williams Collision Center, we hope that you and your family will use caution while operating your motor vehicle, however there are some things that you should do if you are involved in an accident.

You must stop if you are involved in any type of vehicle accident. Pull over out of the way of traffic and turn your motor off to reduce the risk of fire.

Turn your hazard lights on to warn other approaching vehicles.

If there are injuries, call for help - police, sheriff or state patrol.

You must five your name, address, date of birth and the registration number of your vehicle to other drivers involved in the accident. You will also need your driver's license to give to police that will be making the report.

Have your insurance information readily available to exchange with others involved in the collision.

If there are no injuries, and all parties agree, it is not necessary to notify police. You should however have any vehicles that are disabled, towed immediately.
